Hi!
My name is Tim Werner, and I am a Senior majoring Business Administration (with a concentration in Marketing) and a minor in Sustainable Materials and Technology. I am thrilled to be joining SBSA as the Chief Executive Officer.
In my role as CEO, I look forward to building campus-wide club awareness while improving active membership through executing various marketing campaigns. By utilizing our communication channels, I'm excited to market SBSA towards the professional community to help build out the club and provide more opportunities for our members.

In the broader sustainability movement, I aim to help educate and, more importantly, enable the NC State community on how they can apply sustainable practices into business activities - no matter the industry!

I am working towards working in a marketing role in the technology or finance industries where I can leverage data analytics and my sales skills to execute informed, and strategic, marketing campaigns with various messages and audiences.

In addition to my work with SBSA, I've served as the General Manager of the NC State Student Media Business and Marketing office where I managed a team of seven Media Consultants. My office was responsible for the selling of, and marketing of, various advertisement placements to raise the revenue required to support the publishing of The Technician, WKNC, and The Nubian Message among others. Additionally, I have completed two internships with Visa (one in NYC and one in SF) and a Researching and Advertising internship with a local non-profit. Outside of the office, you can find me in the gym, out on the trails hiking, or at Chipotle!
