The Student Business Sustainability Association (SBSA) believes that the NC State student body has a tremendous potential in making a difference to our community, society, and world. By offering career-oriented events, our club aims to inspire and prepare impact-driven leaders to influence organizations toward a sustainable future while still bringing prosperities to all stakeholders involved.
SBSA Is Forming A Community Of Change-Makers At NC State
We envision a safe, equitable, and sustainable future for all. However, it will require a lot of effort, resources, and leadership to transform our current society for the benefits of every individual in our local and global community. In Spring 2023, SBSA at NC State University was founded to bring together and inspire a powerful group of courageous students who are excited to become a difference maker.
Why Drive Sustainability Efforts Through Business?
We believe businesses have the power to become the solution and embody change. In recent years, there have been new-comers disrupting an entire industry; there have been organizations responding to public pressures to do better; and there have been corporations transforming their operations to support sustainability efforts. In all these cases, the common denominators are the teams, managers, and executives deciding to take actions. If we can continue to develop and integrate such committed individuals, SBSA is optimistic about a sustainable future being driven by our aspiring members.
